Riaan Marais

Riaan Marais joined OPTRON in 2024 as the Business Development Manager for Public Safety and Security, based at our Durban branch. With over 20 years of extensive experience in the security industry, Riaan has worked in various fields including stock theft prevention, vehicle tracking, VIP protection, and security branch management. He holds numerous security training certificates and courses, ranging from counter-ambush training to VIP protection.

Riaan is passionate about technology in the safety and security sector and possesses a wealth of knowledge to assist our clients in finding the right solutions that work for them.
